Seven checks, one decision
Check category fit, useful photos, sizing or measurements, price context, shipping weight, row clarity, and your reason for saving. A row that scores below four should not stay in the shortlist without more research.
The seven-point checklist
- The item belongs in the category I am browsing.
- Photos show the details that matter for this product type.
- Sizing, measurements, or fit notes are visible when needed.
- Price makes sense beside similar finds.
- Shipping weight does not ruin the value.
- The row is not just hype or a vague label.
- I can explain why I would save this find.
Only give the point when the live destination supports it. A spreadsheet thumbnail, old note, or confident title should not overrule missing details on the current page.
Score your row
A high score means the row is easier to examine, not that the product or seller has been verified. A low score can improve if you find missing measurements or clearer photos—but the burden is on the evidence, not your optimism.
QC photos by category
Quality-check photos are useful when they answer the questions created by the item type. A QC finder or QC photo finder may locate image sets, but the number of images matters less than their coverage.

Photos cannot prove future fulfillment, durability, material composition, or that the item pictured is the one you will receive. They help answer visible questions; they do not remove the need to assess the current listing and seller information.

Good row example
- Spreadsheet row

- Live destination
- Shows front, back, hood, zip, cuffs, fabric close-up, size chart, and a matching source description.
- Comparison context
- Price and likely weight can be compared with two similar zip hoodies.
- Score
- 6/7. Worth a shortlist place while fabric claims and current seller details receive another check.
Weak row example
- Spreadsheet row
- “Best hoodie — low price — must buy”
- Live destination
- One promotional image, no measurements, unclear fabric wording, and no source match.
- Comparison context
- The price appears low, but there is no fair basis for comparing fit, construction, or packed weight.
- Score
- 1/7. Remove for now. Popularity wording is not evidence.
The one-sentence save rule
If the first blank contains only “cheap,” “popular,” or “looks good,” the row needs a stronger reason. If you cannot name the remaining uncertainty, you probably have not read the destination closely enough.
What to do next
- Open the category guide if the comparison group is still mixed.
- Read the shipping guide when bulk or packed weight may change which item stays on the list.
- Review the safety notes before following third-party links or acting on support claims.
- Use the FAQ for direct answers about QC, source terms, converters, and official support boundaries.
