Open the live page first
Open the live destination, identify the domain and item type, compare the current title, images, options, and price context with the saved row, then record any redirect or mismatch. Treat link conversion as routing—not verification—and keep the original source only when you can explain what it adds.
What the four common source labels usually describe
| Source term | What it may contain | What the label does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Taobao | A marketplace item page with variants, images, sizing, and seller context | That the spreadsheet description or saved price is current |
| Weidian | A storefront or item page with product and seller clues | Seller reliability, product quality, or future availability |
| 1688 | A wholesale-oriented listing with quantity, variation, or supplier context | That every option suits an individual order or the same workflow |
| Yupoo | An album-style catalog, grouped images, or contact-oriented product context | That the pictured item has a current matching purchase page |
These descriptions are deliberately general. Interfaces, policies, and page availability can change. Use the visible destination as current evidence and official platform information for platform-specific rules.
Original link, converted link, and redirect
An original or raw link usually points closer to the source marketplace or album page. A converted link may reformat that destination for another service, and a redirect sends the browser through one or more intermediate URLs. None of these formats is automatically safer or more accurate.
The useful test is whether the final page still describes the same item and variant. Record the final domain, the product type, and any material change from the row you saved. A neat URL cannot repair a mismatched destination.
That is why “Fulfillbot original link,” “Fulfillbot raw link,” and “Fulfillbot link converter” should lead to different checks. Marketplace-specific searches—“Taobao link converter,” “Weidian link converter,” and “1688 link converter”—may describe different input formats, while a “universal link converter” makes the broadest promise. In every case, inspect the final destination and retain the original URL for comparison.
A five-step link triage
- Read the final domain. Confirm where the link actually lands rather than trusting the anchor text or spreadsheet label.
- Match the category. A row marked as a hoodie should not lead to an unrelated item, empty store page, or generic homepage.
- Match the visible variant. Compare color, material wording, size options, included pieces, and the main images.
- Separate current facts from saved notes. Price, options, availability, and page content can change after a row was created.
- Record the result. Use “match,” “partial match,” “redirected,” “unavailable,” or “unclear,” followed by a short reason.
Questions to ask by source type
For a marketplace item page
Does the item title describe the same product? Are the options tied to the visible images? Does the size chart belong to this listing? Is the displayed price attached to the option you mean to compare? Are important included pieces or quantity rules clear?
For an album or image catalog
Can you connect the album entry to a current product or contact path without guessing? Do the images establish the exact variant? Is there a date or grouping context? An image collection may help with visual research while still leaving ordering, price, and availability unresolved.
For a store page rather than an item page
Search within the visible store only when you have a specific product clue. Do not assume that landing on the right seller or album means the original item is still present.
When a link is dead, changed, or access-limited
Do not rebuild a URL by guessing item IDs or paths. Keep the original row as a dated reference, search by neutral product type and distinctive non-brand details, or return to the closest category. If the destination requires an account or region-specific access, use the official platform flow rather than sending credentials to an unknown converter.
A clean recovery note
Status: original link no longer shows the saved product.
Still useful: the row identifies the category, color, and approximate dimensions.
Next action: compare current items in the same category; do not treat a similar image as the same listing.
Link-converter caution
A converter reformats or routes a product URL so another service can open it. Before using a third-party converter, understand what information it receives and what destination it returns. Never enter account credentials, payment details, order numbers, addresses, or private support records merely to convert a product URL.
After any conversion, repeat the category, variant, photo, sizing, price-context, and shipping checks. Conversion changes the route, not the evidence.
A source note you can reuse
- Saved label
- Grey zip hoodie — Weidian source.
- Final destination
- Weidian item page; grey option visible; measurements shown in centimeters.
- Match status
- Partial match: front and back images align, but the saved price and fabric note are not confirmed on the current page.
- Next check
- Compare the measurement chart and QC coverage before keeping the row.
